What would have been Fofi's 16th birthday.

On December 3rd, 2010, God blessed Betsy with a little princess: Verónica Isabel. Fofi, as we lovingly called her, was sweet, funny, and wise. At such a young age, she had the ability to really see people and make them feel special.

Almost three years later, Fofi went back home to her Heavenly Daddy as a result of a tragic pool accident.

Though losing her was excruciating and profoundly devastating, Betsy acknowledges that having gone through that pain also blessed her deeply. 

In their surrender, Betsy and her family got to meet face to face with the peace that surpasses all understanding and the joy that depends not on external circumstances. 

Every year since, she has chosen to make this date about light instead of loss. Love instead of grief.

As Betsy likes to remind us, "love transcends death." 

The Faith & Growth Summit is a labor of love. It is a celebration of life — Fofi's and yours.

It's a day given to people who are quietly being asked for "more" by God and don't know what that "more" looks like, haven't prioritized taking the first step, or feel stuck in fear and haven't built the courage to say, "Here I am, Lord."

The Faith and Growth Summit is Betsy's idea of doing something sweet for Fofi's Sweet Sixteen, so you may also sweeten your life with intention, purpose, and greatness.

WHAT THIS SUMMIT IS

Where psychology ends, faith begins.

This is not another conference where you take notes and go home unchanged. It is also not a retreat where you go quiet for the weekend and lose what you learned the moment Monday hits.

The Faith & Growth Summit is both — and neither. It is a day designed to do what most events cannot: hold the clinical depth of psychology and the spiritual depth of faith in the same room, at the same time, with the same intention.

The theme of this Summit is one sentence:

You are the producer and director of your movie.

Most people are still acting in a script someone else wrote. They are reacting to their lives instead of leading them. This day is about taking the pen back — with God as your co-author.

Through keynotes, alumni stories, intimate roundtable conversations, and a closing no one in the room will forget — you'll leave with more than ideas. You'll leave with clarity, equipped, and with a new relationship with the person looking back at you in the mirror.

Doors open at 8:30 AM. The program runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Plan to be there for the full day — the closing hours are the most powerful part of the experience.

Come as you are. Most people wear business casual or a comfortable dress. Wear what makes you feel grounded and present. There is no dress code.

No. This Summit is built for any person — woman or man — who feels God inviting them into something more. The conversations, content, and depth are open to everyone.

This day is for adults eighteen and over. The depth of the work and the length of the day are not appropriate for children. We’ve made that choice on purpose.

Yes. If you sense someone in your life would benefit from this day, invite them. Many people will arrive in pairs or small groups. We have tables of ten available specifically for that.

Lunch is sold separately. You’ll see the four lunch options at checkout when you reserve your seat. Vegetarian is $20. Chicken, meat, and tuna are $25. A limited number of meals will be available on-site for last-minute orders, but ordering ahead is recommended.

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. If something prevents you from attending, you may transfer your seat to another person up to seven days before the event by emailing faithandgrowthsummit@gmail.com.

After your purchase, you’ll receive an email with a Guest Roster form. Fill it in with each guest’s name, email, and lunch selection. Names need to be submitted by November 15, 2026, so we can prepare table cards and finalize the lunch count.

Some of the day will be recorded for future reference and content. The most sacred moments of the closing will not be — those are for the people in the room only.

English, primarily. Dr. Betsy is bilingual and may weave Spanish in occasionally where the moment calls for it. If you understand only one of the two, you will not miss anything essential.

Yes — especially if you sense you are being called into deeper, more equipped work with the people assigned to you. You’ll find both clinical and spiritual depth in this room.

Yes.
