Dr. Betsy Guerra is a bilingual psychotherapist, international speaker, and author of Hurt 2 Hope: Heal the pain of loss, grief, and adversity. She is the founder of Better with Betsy, the only platform dedicated to elevating humanity by training service leaders and supporting individuals through a powerful psycho-spiritual approach.
Betsy is a woman of faith. She includes God’s guidance in everything she does and claims to have the Holy Spirit as her business partner. A devoted wife and mother of four, she lived a fairytale life… until she endured a mom’s worst nightmare.
Betsy’s daughter died unexpectedly in 2013. She met face-to-face with excruciating pain and understood firsthand how life can feel so unbearable at times. However, her faith lifted her up from suffering a better-version-of-herself and compelled her to help others do the same.
Inspired by divine wisdom and leveraging her superior clinical skills, Betsy helps her clients and audiences rise above adversities, create fulfilling relationships, and deepen their spirituality–so they may live a purpose-driven and joy-full life.
Betsy’s PhD in Clinical Psychology and professional speaking career earned her the privilege of supporting thousands of individuals, couples, and families for over two decades. But it was her experience as an entrepreneur and team supervisor that inspired her to expand her impact to thought leaders, coaches, therapists, and other faith-full individuals called to serve and elevate humanity. That’s why she founded the Faith-Based Coaching Academy, where she trains and certifies them as clinically competent and deeply spiritual life coaches who lead by example.
